The Cielo XL LED Pendant is an innovative extension of the Cielo Collection. Offering a slimmer silhouette with a unique machined aluminum finish, it is designed to occupy tall ceilings and airy rooms in residential and commercial spaces

As design lead for this program, I oversaw development from our initial ideation through delivery of designs and sample review with our manufacturing partners.

USER EXPERIENCE

The Cielo XL uses a unique cable lock mechanism to allow simple adjustment in pendant height. Typical pendants require cutting and re-wiring to adjust height and correctly installing multiple pendant lights at a uniform height can be particularly challenging.

We addressed this installation pain point with a solution that also allows for greater flexibility for users without needing to hire an electrician.

Cielo XL offers up to 1200 lumens of bright, warm, ambient lighting and is available in machined silver, black, and gold as well as gloss white and a mirror polish finish.

LIGHT PANEL & CASING

Advanced diffusion technology creates bright glare-free illumination from an exceptionally thin and elegant LED panel.

A custom etched polycarbonate lens evenly diffuses the warm glow of Cielo’s many on board LEDs.
